Cheryl Cole dumps husband via SMS

London: Popstar Cheryl Cole’s marriage to footballer Ashley Cole has reportedly come to an end with the singer dumping her husband by text message saying “move out, it’s over”. The ‘Fight for This Love’ hitmaker sent the SMS to soccer player Ashley Cole whom she has been married for three year after four women came forward to say they had bedded the sportsman, and another said how he sent her flirty messages in a bid to have sex with her, The Sun online reported.

“Cheryl has decided enough is enough and she is going to divorce him. She has told Ashley to get out of the family home because she does not wish to see him,” a source said about the tiff. The 26-year-old singer reportedly fled from UK to Los Angeles last week and was not sporting her wedding ring.

Cheryl star-struck by Beyonce

English singer Cheryl Cole has revealed that she was left completely star-struck when she met American singer-actress Beyonce Knowles. The Girls Aloud star admits she acted like a star-struck fan when she was first introduced to the singer on Britain’s talent show The X Factor last year, reports a website. “I turned into a fool when I saw Beyonce, I couldn’t speak to her. I really embarrassed myself. When I saw Jay-Z the other week, I did the same. I didn’t know whether it was because I’d built it up in my head, but when he approached me, I started screaming ‘Jay-Z’and then turned my back on him,” she said. Cheryl also revealed that if she could only listen to one artist’s music for the rest of her life, she would pick songs by Beyonce, who is married to rapper Jay-Z. “I think Beyonce would fulfil everything I’d need, really. I love watching massive performances with pyrotechnics and dancers, but she can also give you those tender moments. Beyonce is my favourite, but I’ve got a jukebox at my house and I put random things on. Music lifts your spirit and takes you to a good place,” she said. IANS

Cheryl accused of plagiarism

Cheryl Cole has been slapped with accusations claiming her debut solo single is lifted from an old Top 10 hit. Pop fans blasted the singer, saying her first solo track is a “blatant” copy of Li’l Star by US singer Kelis, which reached No 3 in 2007.

 

The 26-year-old star, on the other hand, has denied “stealing” the melody, insisting there were no similarities. Meanwhile, her Fight For This Love appeared ready to hit the No 1 spot in the charts. Official Charts Company boss Martin Talbot said, “Cheryl’s first day’s sales are just amazing and put her in pole position to top the chart. She is likely to set the sales standard by which everyone is judged for the rest of the year.”
