Los Angeles:       News of the Kill Bill’s star’s broken engagement to the French businessman spread on Tuesday, prompting gossip mongers to speculate that the British actor, who is her co-star in upcoming Bel Ami, was behind the break-up. But a spokesperson of Thurman has denied that Pattinson could in any way be responsible for the split which happened two months ago as they haven’t met each other yet. The actress will not be meeting the 23-year-old actor untill they begin shooting next year. Responding to the rumours, the representative told GossipCop.com, “That is actually funny. Uma hasn’t even been in the same room as Pattinson.” The 39-year-old actress will be playing a wealthy woman who is seduced by Pattinson’s younger character in the movie, an adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s 1885 novel.   Hollywood star Uma Thurman has slammed rumours of her romancing actor Robert Pattinson following her split with fiance Arpad Busson.

The 42-year-old mum-of-three, who is married to country singer Keith Urban, said she picked the habit from her mother.

“I grew up with a mother who, when she was stressed, would go out and garden,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

“Somehow, that’s rubbed off on my sister and myself. My dad got my sister and I running and my mum would garden.

“My sister runs, I run and we’re both gardeners. I’m about to start on roses,” she added.

Los Angeles: Just days after denying a hook-up with Jessica Alba’s husband Cash Warren, Lindsay Lohan added fuel to fire by flirting with him on Twitter.

Popular magazine Us Weekly had recently reported that Lohan kissed the Fantastic Four actress husband in a Hollywood nightclub, an allegation vehemently denied by the Mean Girls star. But the 23-year-old actress does not seem keen to let the episode pass, as she wrote a public message to Warren on the micro-blogging site. Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren stepped out at a Los Angeles basketball game on Saturday, two days after the stories were published.

An hour after Cash, 30, commented on a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game on Friday night, Lindsay wrote him a message, “Are you at game too? Watching it, wishing I went!”  And yesterday, the pair were both photographed separately leaving an office building in Beverly Hills, possibly after a meeting.

28-year-old Alba, who has a 17-month-old daughter Honor Marie with Warren has meanwhile maintained silence over the controversy.

Lohan to come to India for documentary shoot

Lindsay Lohan will be in India to film a documentary for BBC about the trafficking of women and children in the country.

The star is reportedly planning to be in the country from December 9-12.

The actress is trying to better her wild image and has therefore teamed up with the BBC to make the documentary on trafficking of women and children, Contactmusic reported.

“Lindsay is trying to better herself and get away from her party girl image. She wants to be taken more seriously,” a source said.

Love may or may not be blind, but sometimes it can be valid proof for stupidity. Why else would you get a tattoo on your nape with your lover’s initials, especially when tattoos, like diamonds, last forever? It’s only relationships in Bollywood that don’t have a long shelf life.

Since Deepika Padukone broke up with Ranbir Kapoor two months ago after having dated for nearly two years, she hasn’t really spoken about the relationship publicly. So at a skin care product launch yesterday for which she is a brand ambassador, reporters seized the chance to question her about her ex.

The first question thrown at her was: What are you going to do about the RK tattoo on your back?

The question was met with stony silence and was followed up by a cheeky zinger: is the brand coming out with a cream that will erase your tattoo?

Deepika started fidgeting but said nothing. The journalists were relentless and went on to ask, “Are you happy after your break-up with Ranbir?”

By now the poor actress, who was probably regretting ever getting the blessed tattoo, snapped, “Of course, I am happy. Don’t I look happy?”

It’s no surprise that the interactive session didn’t last very long after that. A visibly uncomfortable Deepika fled soon after from the backstage exit and left without any further hobnobbing with the media.

Perhaps she left to mull over what to do with the indelible stamp of her ex-lover – get another boyfriend with the same initials perhaps?
